My name is George Rahal. My company is Xahir, Inc, whose name is derived from an Arabic word for brilliant or luminous. Its prenatal website is xahir.com. This company, founded in 2011, has no revenues and minimal capital, although we are in the process of raising capital through a "Regulation D" equity offering. Our planned service is to be a portal to different "blogospheres," but that's only the beginning!
Although determined and optimistic that the company will achieve its ambitious goals, having no income and seeking jobs for supplemental income makes me feel like I'm unemployed. That frustrated feeling and situation, however, lead to the following revelation:
There are about 690,000 unemployed individuals in NYC. If all were to join forces, they would comprise the 6th largest company in the world, and the 2nd largest US company, with Wal-Mart being number one worldwide. Such human-capital, with the right direction and focus, could create its own revenue generating company.
So, I have decided to try that model out on a smaller scale and am seeking to "hire" as many individuals as manageably possible. Unfortunately, I cannot currently provide a salary, but hope that the large human-capital will accelerate the company's production of revenue. Future revenues will be distributed to the workers on a pro-rata basis, similar to a comission.
Yes, this does sound like a "crazy" idea, but is that such a bad thing? If you have fanciful ideas too, we'll get along great. With enough people working for themselves and for each other, perhaps we could create something worthwhile. If successful, I am sure such a strategy will to be imitated by others, which would be a societal benefit.
