PC AMERICA US-NY-Rockland County-Support Technician -- pcAmerica develops and sells Point Of Sale software packages for the retail, grocery and restaurant industries. Cash Register Express, a point of sale system to replace cash registers in retail stores and Restaurant Pro Express, the # 1 rated point of sale system for restaurants, are designed and developed by PC America (www.pcamerica.com.) Headquartered in Rockland County in New York, PC America sells and distributes our point of sale system inside of the United States and around the world.

Currently we have an opening for a Support Technician. Weekend availability is also required.

Requirements
• Must be a proficient user of Microsoft Windows
• Must have knowledge and ability to setup a basic LAN
• Problem solving skills and ability to work alone or in a team
• Ability to communicate with customers via telephone and e-mail

Responsibilities
• Provide support on software and hardware to customers via telephone, e-mail and instant messenger
• Install systems for customers on-site
• Provide over the phone training to new customers

• Location: Pearl River, NY
• Compensation: The support technician is a full time position with an annual salary of $ 30,000. There are also benefits which include health and dental insurance plans and a 401K investment option.
