Senior Web Developer
Duties and Responsibilities
Design and develop highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems using J2EE and open source technologies, specifically EJBs, Workflow, Rules Engine, JDBC, JMS and Message- Driven Beans, Java Server Faces for web based UI
Provide architectural recommendations
Work on both server-side and UI-side modules
Write SQL Queries and create Stored procedures, Triggers and Functions
Work on Integration with Legacy systems
Gather and analyze requirements from business analysts
Create functional specifications and design documents
Create Crystal reports as required
job Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
College Degree
5 or more years experience
Experience working on workflow systems a plus
Strong programming skills with Object-Oriented software development
Strong computer programming skills in HTML, Java, JavaScript and OO Design
Working knowledge of Imaging systems like Stellent/Filenet etc
Knowledge of Scanning / OCR technologies
Familiarity working with IDE tool
Knowledge of ASP.NET, ASP, COM and SQL Server
Good working skills in programming with SQL
Good working skills in using Unix AIX and Windows OS ( XP, NT, 2000)
Crystal Reports
Good Analytical, verbal and writing skills
Proactive and energetic personality
Open to new technologies and learning new things
Previous Insurance Experience a plus
