Tax Supervisor

Full-service public accounting and consulting firm in Westchester County is seeking an experienced Tax Supervisor.

Job Function
The Tax Supervisor will prepare and review Individual, Corporate and Partnership tax returns. Other responsibilities include:
-Oversee tax planning and tax projections
-Exposure to international and/or individual tax returns
-Complex federal and state tax research related to various tax matters
-Represent clients before taxing authorities with regard to a variety of business tax notices and audits
-Mentor and train staff at all levels

Job Requirements
-Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Masters Degree in Taxation a plus
-CPA certification preferred
-Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
-Minimum of 5 years public accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
-Knowledge of Prosystem FX or similar tax software program is required
