Field Auditor
Responsible for reviewing products, systems, and statistical data of major health insurance companies.
Plan, organize, and control assigned audits and/or special projects.
Develop audit programs.
Recommend improvements and keep current with changes in policies, procedures, and regulations.
Document and evaluate the system of internal controls for adequacy-both manual and computer systems.
Insure that all findings/issues are well documented and properly supported.
Prepare audit reports.
BS in Business, preferably with major in Accounting
Work Experience: Two or more years of public accounting, insurance industry accounting or internal audit. Experience should include work paper preparation and documentation, client interviewing, and write up of issues.
Other Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively and gather verbal information
Research and analyze verbal and written information and draw conclusions
Strong writing skills
Knowledge of Information Technology concepts
Experience with Microsoft Office or equivalent applications
Interest in professional development and pursuit of professional designations in auditing, such as CIP, CPA, and CISA.
Possess valid driver's license and capable of driving during out or town assignments
Out of town travel- up to 30%
