Looking for a Co-producer for the development of DATE MY JEWISH FRIEND PLAY slated for summer 2010 at a venue such as Ars Nova.

The show will be a comedy set at a singles party thrown by 2 single Jewish sisters; one in her early 30's and the other in her 40's both looking for a man and trying to hook up their friends in the meanwhile.
The show will include elements of improv and audience participation and possibly music.

The cast will consist of 8 diverse actors TBD cast from the improv and broadway/broadway communities. Actors will be diverse ie: transgendered, israeli, indian, divorced with a child etc...

We will have one 8 hour recorded rehearsal where we will improv various scenarios all set at a Jewish Singles Party. The rehearsal will be recorded and transcribed.

Writer will have 2-3 weeks to flesh out a script based on the improv.
We will then have one 4 hour rehearsal followed by 3 staged readings at a location tbd.

Looking for a producer with experience producing at the off-broadway level, and knowledge of the NYC improv scene, will accept all submissions.

Time frame: January 15 2010 - Summer 2010 and beyond when show gets picked up

PAY:

Tuffy: an angry, homeless man. His gritty past has created an abrasive disposition which trips him up no matter how hard he tries to improve his situation. He finds joy in nature.
Paper: a quite yet animated artist (mime talent is ideal). His creative Zen presence notices everything, he is Eric�s buddy.
Cliff (Understudy): 30-50s An African American man whom can �pass� for Caucasian. He is Ivy Leagued schooled yet working-class, has a tough, demanding personality which is often off putting. He is George�s buddy, yet keeps everyone else at arm�s length with arrogance.

Faith Film Festival is committed to showcasing films and artists that offer expansive depictions of peoples experiences, beliefs and stories dealing with religious faith. We are also looking for films that deal with human rights issues and conserving the environment.

The films selected will then be aired on NET, a cable TV station in the New York area, and will be aired several times a week. For added exposure, the films will also be showcased on our website (NETNY.NET), and viewers will also be able to vote on their favorite films. At the end of the season, the judges pick their top ten favorite films and leave it up to the viewers to select the grand prize winner.

The festival will consider all forms of short films: narrative, documentary and experimental. Films can be from 2 minutes to 25 minutes. All projects must have been completed between Jan 2000 and 2009. Projects in a language other English must have English subtitles. There is no-submission fee.

In addition to the great exposure the selected films will receive, there is also a cash prize of $500 for the film with the most votes at the end of the season.

Looking to hire a writer for first draft screenplay from an existing romantic comedy/dramatic storyline. Ideal writer will also have a deep emotional attachment to contemporary medical issues. Screenplay is expected to be between 90 and 110 pages. The project should be completed over no more than a (6) week period, commencing within the next two or three weeks.

This would be strictly a work for hire; the writer must waive/release all interest in the project. Writer must also understand that this is a first draft and will not share in any writing credit.

TheStreet.com is seeking FALL SEMESTER interns for its video department. Interns will play a key role in helping add to and refine the rapidly-growing audio and video portion of our site.

Responsibilities:
� Assist with filming and editing video segments.
� Arrange optimal lighting, camera and teleprompter setup for video shoots.
� Assist in scheduling tapings and guest appearances.
� Occasionally help with location shoots and/or work in front of the camera.

Qualifications:
� Current enrollment in a BA/MA program at an accredited college or university (sophomore standing or above).
� Ability to receive academic credit from their college or university prior to starting assignment.
� Commitment to a minimum of TWO FULL days per week either on a part-time or full-time basis.
� Familiarity with video production equipment and software.
� Interest in filming and editing video segments.
� Comfort with Macintosh and PC operating systems.
� Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
� Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
� Ability to work well with a variety of personalities.
� Knowledge of financial news helpful.

We are currently looking for interns to help coordinate and assist on various productions and in-office projects. Responsibilities for these interns include production accounting, organization and communications. Making phone calls, going on runs, sending emails and assisting with all aspects of production is the core of this job. This intern will gain comprehensive experience in production coordination and management. Ideal candidates should be interested in Producing and be motivated to work hard and multi-task. With a number of projects in production at any given time, the Greencard office is in a constant flux that needs organizational, structural and communicative assistance. At two days a week, this intern may help with any number of office-related tasks, assisting the operations of the company. This person will constantly track the stages of the productions, while also sending packages, organizing meeting notes and assisting the office manager in keeping the office tidy. ANIMATION DIRECTOR � Healthcare Studio

JOB DESCRIPTION

IOMEDIA is seeking an Animation Director for the Healthcare Studio to manage a team of accomplished animators and artists. You will work alongside and in conjunction with other IOMEDIA directors to produce strategic, creative, and solution-based visual communications for the Healthcare industry.

This is a full-time, salaried position with a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance and a 401K profit-sharing program.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

� Meet all milestones and final deliverables by delegating tasks, managing timelines, supervising artists, and overseeing the execution of those tasks.

� Communicate weekly on all project needs, resource issues, timelines, and conflicts to VP | Production.

� Communicate to Healthcare Project Managers in regards to project deliverables, and obtaining assets required for artists to execute work.

� Execute on project guidelines established by the Healthcare VP |Creative Director.

� Responsible for all aspects of QA and delivery of finished work product.

REQUIREMENTS

� 5+ years� experience in hiring, managing, maintaining and motivating staff within a creative environment

� 2-3 years� involvement within a healthcare-related studio or agency

� Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and handle multiple projects

� Possess superior verbal and written communication skills

� BA or BS degree

PREFERENCES

� 2-3 years� experience in medical illustration, 3D images and/or 3D animation

� Science-based education, incorporating media, communications, medical visualization, or similar

� Software skills should include Adobe AfterEffects, an understanding of the 3D production workflow and its associated software (SoftImage XSI), Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Office
