Adhesives manufacturer seeks Regional Sales Representative in New York. Duties include:
* Generating new sales activity,
* Responsibility for increasing sales and distribution,
* Conducting prompt follow-up of inquiries and leads,
* Manage distributor network for growth in a competitive business environment,
* Prospecting as part of the regular routine ensuring that new prospects are consistently being contacted and added to the database,
* Staying abreast of current marketplace dynamics including competitive issues, products and new business opportunities,
* Ability to rapidly grasp working knowledge vital to the adhesive & coatings industry,
* Appropriate and effective communication including but not limited to weekly reports, customer call reports, expense reports, sales forecast, and market intelligence reports.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone to join our sales team in aggressive expansion. Candidate must have experience with B2B sales, distribution channels, lead generation and the ability to make cold calls. Previous industrial adhesives experience preferred. If no adhesive experience, knowledge of construction, foam & fabric, marine or related industry experience preferred. Full benefits, approx. 80% travel. Requires the RSR to work out of home as base operations.
