I am subletting for the summer one bedroom in a 2BR apartment in Astoria, Queens. I am searching for someone who will move in June 1 and move out in August 25, 2008.
The house is located in a nice neighborhood, restaurants, cafes, bars, cinema. The supermarket and Kaufman film studios are only 1 minute and both the Broadway and Steinway Subway Stations are 4-5 minutes walk from the house. Just 15 minutes to Manhattan with the N,W,R,V or G trains. The room for rent is quite large, fully furnished including a wardrobe, a twin-size bed, tables, bookshelves, chairs, an air conditioner, a stereo and a closet. The apartment is also very clean and fully furnished.
I am a graduate student at Columbia, responsible, clean and ordered. Therefore, I prefer students or working persons with a set schedule, who has no pets.
The rent is $900 per month. You'll pay also half of the cost of utilities (gas, electricity, telephone and wireless internet) which is approximately $60 per month per person. One months deposit ($900) needed to move in.
