My roommate is going away for two weeks and we decided to sublet her room while she's gone.
I'm looking for a quiet non-smoker, male or female, who needs a place to stay for two weeks. The room is furnished with a bed, nightstand, desk, TV, and separate entrance.
Apartment is a 3rd floor walk-up in Astoria, 10 blocks from the Astoria Blvd. stop on the N line.
While here, you will have full use of the bathroom, kitchen, and living room which has an elliptical machine/stationary bike and 13" TV.
The rent will be $500 for the two weeks, and that includes everything; heat, hot water, cable and internet access. If you have a laptop, we have a wireless connection you can use.
I only ask that you be tidy and leave the room in the same condition that you received it. I have a cat, so you must be OK with a kitty in the common areas. He doesn't go in my roommate's room, so no worries about a 4 am wake-up pounce. You must be out of the room by Saturday, the 31st because my roommate returns on the 1st.
