Looking to Adopt a Pair of Rats (Flushing)

Hi,
I'm interested on a pair of rats after reading about their intelligence and companionship. I'd like a pair because I hear they are VERY social and do well when there's two. Gender doesn't really matter as long as both are the same one. I'd like them to be young, but older ones are great too! The reason I'm posting this is because I don't want to get them from a pet store and as far as I know, I don't think there are any rescues for rats. (Corect me if I'm wrong.) A small re-homing fee is OK and I'd prefer you to be in the Queens area. Thanks! Just send me an e-mail.
