<description><![CDATA[Hi I am looking to swap my 1 bedroom apartment in Ridgewood, Queens, New York for an apartment, or house in any city in the US for any amount of time from September 16-23, 2008. I just want to get away to a new place, nothing really fancy, just a nice neigborhood where I can take a walk get some brunch, and relax at the local coffee shop. <br>

My place is very clean, spacious and has plenty of windows. It is at the moment a one bedroom but if you bring an air mattress you can easily accomdate it in the second bedroom that I use as a study. Its a corner apartment at the border between Brooklyn and Queens. Its is just a 20 min walk or short bus, subway ride into awesome Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and less than 30 mins into NYC east and west village. There are plenty of restaurants, grocery shops, buses, trains all in walking distance, including the Grimaldi's Bakery (one block away), which I reccomend for breakfast. There is even a 24 hour diner not far away in which the film Goodfellas was filmed. <br>

Please contact me if you are interested with your proposal, and I will be happy to send pictures of my apartment, my neighborhood and even provide you with some assistance getting around town if you so need it. Please note this is an even swap so no real payment is necessary, although we may have to work out a deposit agreement. <br>
