FCI Management and Energy Service & Technology Team is seeking electrical installers to work on our energy efficiency programs and projects in the New York City greater metropolitan area. They will be part of a team which will provide customers and materials to the Electrical Installer which will effectively provide energy efficiency and demand reduction for small and mid-size businesses and other customers in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island and
Westchester areas. This team will work with public utilities to achieve aggressive energy reduction goals in the State of New York. This position will report to a Project Manager in conducting work.
Job Responsibilities: Must have three to five years in electrical design experience
Must have Integrity, Honesty, Reliability. Must be emotionally stable and trustworthy.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Performing high volume installations of lighting retrofits (4 ft), LEDs, electrical devices, sensors and Insulation
• Performing quality service for multiple customer installations daily
• Provide adequate labor to service multiple customers daily
• Pick up materials daily at warehouse
• Properly dispose of hazardous materials as designated
• Completing program work-orders in an efficient manner
• Communicate, coordinate, and provide excellent customer service
• Attend development and training sessions as required
• Must be able to keep other business operations from affecting this business commitment
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have the ability to implement a business model for high volume installations employing tactical execution skills, familiarity with lighting systems and operation, including some specific knowledge of installing vending machine sensors, and small electrical devices. Training related to program operations will be provide
• Vehicle to store materials for multiple site installations
• Responsible workmanship attitude
• Experience in installing lighting retrofits and/or 4 foot lamp and ballast replacement
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing, must be able to interact with a diverse customer base and maintain effective working relationships.
• Must be fluent and proficient in English.
• Bilingual language proficiency is not necessary, but is a plus.
• Ability to follow general instructions and work effectively as part of a group.
• Flexible and able to accomplish assigned tasks working independently or with a minimum of supervision.
• Prioritizing assignments and workload appropriately and responding to deadlines effectively.
• Must not have any pre-existing condition that would keep you from performing all required duties at maximum skill level.
This position also requires that you possess a contractors license
