Construction Project Manager needed for a Construction Company with offices in Long Island City and most of the jobs sites in Manhattan. The position requires expertise in reading and interpreting the plans, providing estimates, preparing bid documents and in general supervision, inspection and monitoring of 2-3 job sites. Must be able to create clear and concise correspondence with the architect, the owner and other parties involved in a project.Ensuring construction compliance with plans, reviewing and pre-approving shop-drawings of different trades, coordinating trades, participating in job site meetings with the architect and engineers, following up with NYC DOB required construction sign offs are a must as are good communication skills, general knowledge of computers especially AUTOCAD. 3 yrs exp. and technical degree in engineering, architecture and/or construction related fields are a must.
