With over six million monthly visits, Hollywood.com is the fan-friendly meeting ground that connects like-minded users through timely news headlines, quirky top 10 lists, photo galleries, countless star interviews, hundreds of fan sites, the latest movie clips and trailers plus much more. We also offer local movie showtimes, TV show schedules and every movie and TV review under the sun.

Hollywood.com is looking for editorial/social media interns for the Fall and Winter.

Responsibilities:
• Participate in pitch meetings and generate creative story ideas for Hollywood.com
• Facilitate Hollywood.com’s presence on social networking and user generated content services
• Update editorial calendar
• Assist in copyediting process
• Work with fan site coordinator to determine appropriate fan content to showcase on Hollywood.com homepage
• Complete administrative tasks when needed

Qualities Desired:
• Web-savvy self-starter with passion for movies and interest in new media
• Strong writing skills with excellent attention to detail
• Command of social media platforms like Facebook, Digg and Twitter
• Previous experience in journalism or web publishing a plus
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite beneficial

Requirements:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
• Candidate must be 18 years or older
• Enrolled at an accredited college or university
• Must be available to work at least two days a week
• Applicants must be able to receive academic credit from their college or university for the internship, and must provide official documentation confirming course credit prior to beginning the internship. No exceptions.
