Freelance Legal News Writers
A full-service corporate law firm based in the Southeast is seeking experienced, qualified writers with a law degree and published legal news writing experience to join a pool of freelance writers. Assignments will include providing content for legal news summaries and other externally published law content for a C-suite audience. In addition to providing drafts and final versions of legal content, freelancers may also be asked to assist with research, copy editing, and drafting of editorial material, such as preliminary drafts for articles, alerts, surveys, reports, etc.
Projects are one-off and assigned to the most appropriate freelancer. Fees are by hour or by project and may depend on freelancerˇ¦s qualifications. Projects vary from fewer than 1,000 words with one-day turnaround, to research or content development over several weeks or longer. (Access to legal and business research tools will be provided or reimbursed.)

* Research and writing of reports, white papers, and other legal and business analyses
* Feature story writing on legal issues directed to in-house counsel and C-level executives.
Law Firm Marketing and Practice Collateral
* Practice descriptions
* Web content (legal news summaries and analyses, blog commentaries, articles)
* Market analysis and research summaries
* Brochure content or other law firm or law related promotional or advertising copy
