About Us: Young, dynamic, successful team of writers/editors with more than a decade of experience in commercial young adult and middle grade book publishing, seeking new talent for recently formed literary production company!
About You: Creative, excited, motivated writers with totally original voices and the ability to make us laugh on page one, weep on page two, and burst into Broadway show tunes on page three. Maybe you just graduated from Flashy Expensive Writing Program and have no idea what to do now. Maybe you just got fired from your Editorial Assistant job at Mean Evil McPublishing House. Maybe you’re just awesomely talented and are looking for your Big Chance.
Regardless, you’re familiar with books that kids and teens are Reading Now (do some research if you’re not!) and think you’ve got what it takes to be the next big thing. You’re ready to work hard, you’re ready to collaborate, you’re ready to write. Also, you’ve never been published and are not currently under contract.
What We Do: Hire you to work with us on exciting new teen and middle grade projects that we create, plot, love, and nurture all the way from proposal stage to the bookshelf.
What Now? Interested? Inspired? Hungry? Homeless? Send us your resume, a brief bio, and a sample of your best writing! (Preferably fiction, not necessarily age-specific.)
