Minutes Before... (New Works Festival)
MINUTES BEFORE… is a festival of new work investigating how history can interrupt the daily routine of human activity. Everyday our lives are either stunted or influenced by the history of our planet, but yet we keep moving, changed or uneffected by these events. We are interested in seeing plays that take a look at people’s lives immediately before history takes place.
The historic event can span anywhere from World History to Popular Culture… the options are infinite. (example: Minutes before 9-11, death of Michael Jackson, before election of Obama, assassination of JFK, etc.)
