Job Description:
NYC based media company is looking for a front end HTML and CSS expert. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement the front-end design for several web sites and blogs by leveraging your advanced CSS/HTML skills and merging them with our technologies.
Responsibilities:
Front-end internet production
Primarily responsible for HTML/CSS design and implementation
Works with designers to translate designs into HTML/CSS
Works with web programmers to integrate designs with ASP.NET templates
Experience:
At least 5 years internet production experience
Must be able to hand-code HTML/CSS (without WYSWIG editors)
Proficiency with Advanced CSS
Ability to troubleshoot design issues with CSS/HTML layouts
Highly creative and passionate about Web 2.0 Technologies
The candidate must be technical, organized, detail-oriented, able to adapt to numerous in-house applications, and have the ability to multi-task
Nice to have:
Experience with ASP.NET web components (Page/UserControl/Custom Controls)
Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop or InDesign
Additional development skills, such as Javascript especially JQuery
Flash experience
The work environment is casual and you must have a sense of humor. This is a direct consulting position with the opportunity to convert to a full time position for the right candidate.
