We are seeking an Online Marketing Intern to focus on our Web-based Marketing, Sales and Public Relations effort. Intern will also be responsible for Social Media Campaigns, quantitative marketing analysis, and utilizing methods to access niche clients within public and private sectors. Principal Responsibilities:
• Analyze quantitative marketing data, and develop new mechanisms and marketing initiatives to facilitate firm performance and identify target markets.
• Monitor the internet for interesting news articles and opportunities
• Manage online Profile including Twitter, MySpace, Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Manage online forum profile - post and respond to postings. Expected to be active in online forums.
• Overseas data entry employees
Requirements:
• Must have a passion for the Green Industry and Environmentalism.
• Experienced in web design. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, Photoshop and Dreamweaver. Knowledge of Joomla and Wordpress is a plus.
• Ability to quickly learn detailed information about the operation of our organization
• Must be highly organized, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced (and sometimes unpredictable) environment
• Superb problem-solving skills execution skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task is essential
• Great work ethic, team-player, can-do personality
• Experienced in Social Media; Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and YouTube. Intern will assist in managing brand identity through these channels.
• Some quantitative marketing background
• Knowledge of affiliate marketing, online advertising is a plus
• Knowledge of Green industry is a plus
We are headquartered in New York City in the heart of Tribeca.
All interns recieve a stipend towards any Green Training Certificate course, tutoring, and exam fees.
The office is in a high-energy environment with over 150 other startup companies in the office. Our offices are designed to promote pandemonium with a purpose. There's loads of technology, lots of people, not much room -- and all the free food you can eat.
The length of the internship is 3 months with the possibility of a full-time offer at the end of the rotation. We provide extensive training and fund sponsorship for all interns to achieve LEED, Energy Auditor and Solar certification (in fact, this is a must).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Aggressive self-starter. As we are an early-stage company there will be minimal oversight.
- Compensation: All interns recieve a $3,000 stipend towards any Green Training Certificate course, tutoring, and exam fees and a $100 per week cash stipend.
