CREATETHE GROUP is in search of an experienced Senior Project Manager that will be responsible for leading complex interactive projects and ecommerce sites.
Responsibilities:
Manage project team for large scale interactive projects and ecommerce sites -- from kick-off, requirements, ia, design, development and launch.
Create all documentation for projects MS Project file schedules, change orders, statements of work, meeting notes, weekly status, project tracking updates and other documents.
Communicate to project team and management team the overall progress when project issues or challenges arise.
Contribute and own the project development process and change management process.
Support the development and management of project plans, schedules, project tracking, milestone deliveries and status reports for multiple projects.
Ensures a positive, collaborative work environment for the team. Mentors and coaches project team members and junior members of production team, as appropriate.
Manage project scope and the change control process.
Qualifications:
Deep understanding of digital production process and ecommerce production process.
Experience project managing large scale interactive engagements or ecommerce web sites.
7 or more years of team/project leadership responsibilities in a web/eCommerce environment, developing project plans and managing Web-based solution delivery from implementation through completion.
Strong understanding of interactive and ecommerce best practices and how it affects implementation product discovery, to checkout, online marking, to integration with 3rd party vendors.
High-level understanding of Server-Side and Client-Side Web Development Technologies, and a passion for all things interactive.
Requires a combination of strong technical knowledge and leadership skills. Successful experience in a senior project management position with ability to provide direction.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate to peers, associates and management teams.
Strong commitment to delivering high-quality products and providing excellent service to the customer.
Strong interpersonal skills are required to interface with Account Managers, Designers, IA, Developers, and QA team.
Results oriented, organized, highly motivated and detail-oriented with a high level of energy/high sense of urgency.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and problem solve.
