Code and Theory is looking for enthusiastic, detail-oriented web developer to join our team. As part of this team, you will bring our designer’s visions to life, transforming static designs into interactive experiences utilizing web standards to ensure quick load times and considerations for search indexing.
Requirements:
• Sense of ownership and a drive to over-deliver on projects
• Passion for interactive and experiential software
• Critical thinking and problem solving with sharp analytical skills
• Enthusiasm, dedication and a meticulous attention to detail
• Willingness and ability to handle requests outside of your core responsibilities
• Ability to work both individually as well as part of a team
Qualifications:
• Transforming Photoshop designs into clean CSS / HTML that appear consistent across common browsers
• Understanding of optimization techniques and best practices
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, AJAX, specifically through jQuery
• Working knowledge of PHP and SQL is a plus
• Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux is a plus
• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience is a plus
