need java code right away (Financial District)

i dont really have anything to offer but im about to fail my java class...i have so much homework thats all due tomorrow and if i cant get it in then the only way i can pass is to ace the final which i just know i cant...please im at my wits end here i didnt sign up to be a programmer i signed up for computer networking if i cant get this suff done i just want to drop out of college i dont want to have to take this class again...if this doesnt work then whatever i just really hope i can find someone around here who can give this one to me

heres what i have to do...please someone please...help me out...

1. Create an applet that plays a simple guessing game. Give it two buttons labeled Odd and Even. The user must guess whether a secret number is odd or even by clicking one of these buttons. After a guess is made, the applet should display either Congratulations, you are correct! or Sorry, you are wrong. In either case, also display The secret number was: followed by the secret number. Use labels for these three messages.

The applet will have a private instance variable secretNumber of type long
that holds the secret number. You will need to set it in the init method using the following line of code:
secretNumber =
java.util.Calendar.getInstance().getTimeInMillis() % 100;
In the actionPerformed method, check which button was pressed and make the appropriate response label visible. After that, make the two buttons invisible (only one guess is allowed) and the label containing the secret number visible.

Hint:This project creates a simple little applet ties together the material on applets in this chapter. A discussion on how Java handles time could be introduced here, but is not critical to the operation of this applet.

GuessApplet.java.

2. Design an applet that displays Home Sweet Home. The house should have a door and window and you can also add stuff that looks like sweet home. Your creativity is counted for good credit

3. Write an applet that displays a series of pictures of a person with arms, legs, and of course a head. Use a happy face for the head. Use ovals for the body, arms, and legs. Draw a sequence of figures that appear one after the other, as in Listing 4.9. Make the figures assume a running position. Change the color of the person’s face in each succeeding figure, going from white to pink to red to yellow to green. Have the smiling face gradually change its mouth shape from a smile on the first person to a frown on the last person. Use a switch statement to choose the color. Embed the switch statement in a loop.

Hint: this program uses a switch to determine the face color and the height adjustment of the mouth. The mouth height adjustment is used to gradually change the mouth from a smile to a frown. Also, a number of constants are added for the position and size of the arms, legs, and body.

I was hoping to find a student doula who is willing to help me through my birth experience while she is still in school. I only will need a doula during my labor. Postpartum services are probably not needed. My due date is February 14th, but it can be sooner, since they are twins . I am hoping for a caring and enthusiastic woman who can make this a more pleasant and memorable experience. Most of my family is overseas and probably won't be able to make it until after giving birth.

Hearts & Minds seeks volunteer website programmers and developers to improve its www.change.net website, already reaching millions of visitors a year.

SKILLS WE SEEK
We particularly need Drupal, php and MySQL. CMS and CSS experience are also very welcome!
If interested, email us or call 212 280 0333. Thanks.

WHO WE ARE
Founded in 1996, Hearts & Minds is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization. We work locally, nationally and globally through our website - www.change.net - where we promote volunteering and self-help. Our nonpartisan, nonprofit organization inspires, educates and connects millions of people online with the best ways to address major challenges in their lives and society. This includes the environment, human rights, addictions and other important issues.

THE END POVERTY CAMPAIGN
This is an achievable plan to help end extreme global poverty. Today, we have all the methods and resources to end extreme poverty. Only the political will is missing.

More than 18 million people die every year from povery-related causes. Together, we can help end this silent genocide and create a better world for us, as well.

Our grassroots public education and advocacy raises support for comprehensive, cost-effective programs. This includes innovative and proven techniques such as free and fair trade, microfinance, and social entrepreneurship. These initiatives already help millions of people lift themselves from poverty.

More information about our campaign is at www.change.net/poverty/plan.htm

ART AND EDUCATION
Our Youth for Change and Seniors for Change programs teach disadvantaged kids, teens and seniors about arts, poverty and the environment. Youths and seniors create artworks and write letters to our elected representatives and the media to support getting to the root of some of our most pressing challenges.

We would like to run these free programs with your participants.

MORE PROGRAMS
We provide valuable vocational and life skills training for our own volunteers.

For more info on all our projects, please visit: www.change.net/member.htm
This year the hurricane Jimena has lashed the city of Guaymas leaving an important level of rain. 2009 is the year when it rained the most (in the last 50 years) and this caused an important damage to the population of Guaymas and to the city. The hurricane affected people of all backgrounds, leaving a lot of people in the middle of nowhere since they lost everything they had. Everything was affected, public buildings, leisure areas, houses, schools, there was no place that was not affected.
This international volunteer project is organized in order to help in the reconstruction of the city of Guaymas with the support of motivated volunteers. There are many things to be done since there were several areas seriously affected. We need help to clean beaches, to rebuild sportive spaces, to clean up parks and community spaces, to fix roads, to help in rural communities by giving health workshops.
After the hurricane, the children affected don’t have a place to continue their studies, they lost everything they had for their education: material, furniture, the roof collapsed and the walls were damaged because of the water and humidity. For that reason, at this first stage, the goal of the project is renovating and reconstructing two schools damaged by the Jimena Hurricane, so the children affected can return to their educative activities as soon as possible and in a clean and healthy environment, appropriate for their development and with the support of the international volunteers. This project will benefit 25 families for the first school and 180 families for the second school.
Volunteers will help with the reconstruction of the two schools affected. They will help with reconstruction activities such as painting walls, reforestation, and cleaning the schools. They will contribute to renovate these structures through scratching and painting walls, and will also do some artistic work such as painting murals on the walls of the schools with the help of local volunteers with landscapes and thematic appropriate for the children. The volunteers will also help planting trees and reforesting the affected area, making and putting signals and signs.
Age range: 18 and over
Location: Morelia is a beautiful historic city, and capital of the state of Michoacán. Founded almost 500 years ago, the city has a wonderful central zone with buildings dating back to the time of the Spanish conquest as well as all the more modern attributes (shops, bars, cafés, etc). The city's population is over 1 million and the climate is moderately warm, with daytime temperatures ranging from 20-35º C. Morelia is well connected to a variety of great places to visit, such as Pátzcuaro, and the ancient Purépecha capital Tzintzunzan.

For more details visit: www.cadip.org/volunteer-in-mexico.htm or give us a call: 617-502-0400 (US); 604-628-7400 (Canada)

For volunteer opportunities in other countries click here: www.cadip.org

Lunar New Year festival for orphans in Saigon
February 1 - February 11, 2010

TET Festival is Vietnamese traditional New Year Holiday (following Lunar Calendar) which usually falls into mid January – mid February. This is the time for family reunion and visits to friends and relatives. Like the Christmas and New Year in western countries, people here prepare a lot for this holiday, from renovating their houses, making cakes and a lot of food and drinks. However, in the orphanages, children do not have enough to prepare for their holiday. Most of them stay in the orphanage or centers over the Tet, only some of them go back to their home villages. Thus, there is need to prepare something for those children, so they still have good time and enjoy such big holidays.
In Ho Chi Minh City area, an international workcamp will be set up to prepare Tet holidays in Ky Quang Orphanage and Chua La Orphanage.
Volunteers will help renovating the houses, cleaning the site and making Chung Cake (traditional cake for children in Tet).

HELLO!
NY Artists Unlimited accepts interns/volunteers year-round in all areas of the company from Administration to Fundraising to PR & Marketing to Production Work. Excellent telephone skills are a big plus. Currently, we are launching a new touring show, "Isaiah's Dream - A Parade of Poets" (performances in November/ December/ January/ February thus far). Please visit the website for further information: www.NYartists.org. Our 27 year old mission has been to take professional theatre to under-served audiences throughout NYC and sometimes around the Northeast. We also present a summer theatre festival, which is highly popular and has come to support our outreach work.
There is no pay, but we do provide snacks, beverages, and the occasional sandwich lunch, plus theatre perks. We will need to know the hours and dates you are available and if you are able to get class credit for this (for internships) Filling out your papers/evaluation is no problem.
Please submit a resume and cover letter by email, so we can get a better idea of how to use your services. Thanks so much. Look forward to hearing from you.
Our vision combines the opening of a school, physical fitness/occupational therapy facilities, and the creation of a foundation that will reach beyond our space by providing services and resources to children and families in need. Currently we have a building and our team consists of educators and experienced persons in real estate. We are looking for someone to help construct a business plan.

My name is David Siegel. I have a big new book coming out explaining the semantic web to business people and others interested in the future of the Internet. I am planning to build a huge online resource center with thousands of links, reviews, resources, books, articles, blogs, videos, jobs, and more. I'm looking for researchers WHO WILL START UNPAID and show how enthusiastic they are about learning about the semantic web and the future of the Web. I expect to do consulting next year, and these volunteers will be prime candidates to pick up some consulting work with me. You should either have an MBA or a strong interest in business, or you should have a tech background and a strong interest in computer science, productivity, and the semantic web. I am looking for 5-10 hours per week, and I'll be happy to give you a profile on the site where people can find you and hire you for consulting. If things work out, it could turn into a part-time or full-time job. Enthusiasm counts. The job involves a lot of online searching and helping organize resources on the web site. Bonus points if you have Wordpress experience. Tell me what you can offer. See www.dsiegel.com for a bit more.
Volunteers should come prepared to attend 3-4 committee meetings, one hour each, starting in November and ending in February. Committee members will be expected to help source auction items, contribute to all aspects of the planning, invite guests to the event and help out on the event day.

We enable disadvantaged communities in Africa to transform their environment sustainably and
improve water supplies, food production, health and incomes.

Currently in Kenya, 50% of the population drink unsafe water, and many of them, mostly
children, die every year from diseases associated with the lack of safe drinking water.

The small-scale dams that we build with community groups, capture the seasonal rain and store
it below the sand behind the dam. They supply clean water all year round enable farmers to
start vegetables and tree nurseries. Coupled with terracing land and planting trees, soil erosion
is reduced helping to improve food production, incomes and health.

Excellent Development is an awarded charity founded in UK 8 years ago and now has started
the USA division office here in NYC.
December 19, 2009 - January 2, 2010

The Kemudo village area was struck by a massive earthquake on May 27, 2006. Seven people were found dead, while hundreds of others were injured. About 85% of houses collapsed, and many others were seriously damaged. Since the day after the quake, international volunteer groups have been involved in relieving the pain of the villagers through the implementation of relief actions, such as sending food supplies and medicine, organizing free medical assistance, and providing assistance to local villages and inhabitants. These efforts are held in the spirit of promoting international solidarity and intercultural encounter. Similarly, a new group of international volunteers will get involved both in renovating/reconstructing the area and supplying education to the local children.
The volunteers will do small renovation jobs and will paint the local school. They will also be involved in educational activities with the children, mainly teaching them English and basic hygiene practices.
Study theme: The volunteers will be introduced to the Indonesian culture and customs in general, with a special focus on the Javanese particularities.
NonProfit Social Venture Startup which puts love together with Justice and the Planet needs volunteers for 3 positions:
(can be called Internships, or given major professional titles with commensurate responsibilities (to enhance your resume), and eventually turn into
well paid positions if and when we become a hit, get funding or both.

The startup is a pioneering Internet company to help the approximately 97% of unhappy couples who cannot afford a marriage therapist--approximately 35MM-- to save (if savable)
and revitalize their marriages/committed relationships. Moreover, the founder wants to donate most of whatever revenues he is able to control
(beyond what might end up being due to investors) to help prevent war, increase democracy, and save the planet. Since revenues could reach $10mm/mo, this startup could have substantial impact --could do an immense amount of good for millions and millions of people. The founder has devoted fulltime and most of his savings into the research and development of the company, which includes 3 highly talented individuals. Our BusinessPlan was one of the finalists in a major BP competition.

The positions or areas of responsibility the volunteer can choose from are as follows:

Psych Research Director
Intern or Director of Marketing (or Social Media Marketing)
Director of Business Development (or Intern)

You can work from home and choose your own hours, though prefer at least 1-2hrs per day be during working hours in order to reach people in their office, unless you dislike the phone and only
want to do Internet research and email, which would also be OK.
Minimum Hours: 10, though closer to 20hrs/wk the better

To Apply: In subject box indicate: CL/[city]/Volunteer/[which of the 3 positions you prefer]
A short note as to why us and what you hope to get out of working for us (to help ensure we meet your needs)

We will then send detailed position description, as well as backgrounders on our startup.
Coma Story: Island of Consciousness (working title) is a moving story of the Chagossian's quest to get back their natal islands from the U.K. This is a fun book for all ages, which resembles a fresh David vs. Goliath story - without a battle.

Coma Story is an all-out imaginary tale; on coma experience and lucid dreaming. It nevertheless embodies a certain non-fiction spirit and explores a colonial, imperialist historical event. The narrator finds inspiration in his dream during coma and thus ventures out to help the indigenous people of Chagos (descendants of enslaved Africans and bonded south Indians) to regain their natal homeland and compensation from the British Crown.
