New midtown cafe with unique 'chocolate cafe' concept seeks experienced barista who can work a till. You MUST meet the following requirement to be considered. You MUST have:
-3 years NYC Hospitality experience
-MUST have worked on a traditional barista machine grinding beans fresh daily and pulling shots (IF YOU WORKED ON AN AUTO MACHINE and/or FOR STARBUCKS-This is NOT for you!!!!!! PLEASE DONT APPLY-you wont be considered)
-MUST have 3 references WORK REFERENCES
-Must have worked on a till prior as you will be financially responsible for your drawer
-teamwork player

* This position is for a motivated individual who knows CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you have a bright smile, friendly disposition and are always eager to please this is for you. This is a high volume cafe. You may need to answer the phone and pleasantly put the customer on hold, you may need to greet a customer while preparing anothers' drink. MULTI-TASKING is a very big part of your position. Durning the first 30 days you will be evaluated. If you cannot preform the way your resume and interview reflect you will be asked to leave immediately.

This is a part-time position that will materialize into full time. You must be available nights and weekends. Open schedules will be preferred and treated as such

We offer $9 per hour. THAT IS NOT NEGOTIABLE. Must have all ID, and be a legal citizen able to work ON THE BOOKS.
