NATURE OF WORK

The Porter provides maintenance services to assigned buildings to ensure that public areas of the buildings and sidewalks are clean.





RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to emergencies, asses and report to building manager.

• Clean all public areas of assigned buildings, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, shining, buffing.

• Collaborate with Superintendent(s) on cleanliness of building.

• Take out garbage on assigned days for assigned buildings.





MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with light maintenance and custodial work.

Familiarity with tenement buildings. Bilingual speaking a plus.

• Compensation: $28,000 annual salary
