We are a provider of network solutions and related services. Such work involves: Network Integration, Server administration, Protection, Backup, Antiviral, Email & Blackberries, etc. Based in New York City, we are a mid-size, aggressive, growing company currently seeking a service orientated team player which will service corporations in the New York Metro Area.
The candidate will be required to install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows workstations, Servers/LANs and associated assemblies at client sites. Duties will include: Assembling and configuring network components and associated services, setting up and maintaining basic network operations (including assembly of network hardware), providing assistance to the network administrator, performing network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems, and upgrading network hardware and software components as required. Duties will also include installing, upgrading and configuring: network printing, directory structures, rights, security, software, and file services as well as providing users with network and desktop technical support.
Qualifications: Over 2 years of related experience. Applicants must have experience with Windows workstation and server, MS Exchange server, Network Internet Connectivity, and associated Window network components (RAS,DNS, Service Packs, Server Administration, etc.). SonicWall firewall, routers and Citrix experience a plus.
