The Role
We have vacancies to join our client service team as a Software Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to join our growing team in New York. Your primary role will be providing specialized consulting services, assisting clients with issues, analyzing software-related problems that may arise, and testing new software in preparation for release.
• You will be required to evaluate client’s technical environments and make recommendations to prepare for a proper installation and configuration of Tradar software.
• You will be required to identify and fix possible problems with the software and ensure that clients can successfully use the software.
• You will be the primary liaison between R&D and operations and conduct testing of new software before it is to be released.
• As you progress in the role, you will take on more advanced software analysis and programming responsibilities. This may involve gathering requirements, creating specifications, and providing basic client-specific solutions.
• The position is based in midtown Manhattan.
• Opportunities for promotion and international travel are reviewed after successful performance in this role.
The Candidate
Candidates should be highly motivated self-starters with an interest in the finance industry and be able to demonstrate competence in problem solving. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as much of the role will involve interfacing with clients. The candidate must also be able to work under pressure both individually and as part of the team. Self-development and a willingness to learn are other key skills the candidate should possess.
Applicants should have a solid educational background with good working knowledge of SQL databases. Knowledge of .NET (C#) is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems or IT field with a 3.2 GPA is a minimum. The role is ideal for a recent graduate, although 12 to 18 months of work experience in a related field is helpful.
Candidates should be fluent in English.
Salary
$40,000 to $60,000 – depending on experience
