THE POSITION
Everglades Technologies is searching for an Audio-Visual Technician. This position will involve field work including installing, monitoring and supporting audio visual equipment for residential and commercial clients, installing and repairing a/v wiring systems, assisting our phone and cabling technicians with installs and support calls as needed, and performing site evaluations as needed. In addition, some administrative tasks are expected including closing work orders and performing industry research in order to make development recommendations.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Ideal candidates are customer service oriented, energetic and personable. Knowledge of audio visual equipment and troubleshooting is crucial. Knowledge in programming and or installation of Control4 home automation products is a plus as well as Knowledge of related or competing home automation brands. This is a full-time position with benefits, paid hourly. Compensation is dependent on experience.
