ZOGM LLC., is looking to hire a full time help desk support person to support about 100 Linux/Windows workstations in Manhattan.
ZOGM LLC., is an IT company that provides IT infrastructure installation, maintenance and support services.
You will be working on Rector Street in Manhattan, that's about 2 blocks away from WallStreet.
Hours are 8:45am to 6pm Monday through Friday.
Sometimes you will be working with us on some installation projects nights or weekends, although this would be extremely rare and night work bonuses will be paid.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain about 100 Linux/Windows workstations.
- PC repair (RAM, PSU, HDD replacement etc.)
- Network Printer configuration (Linux/Windows)
- Network Printer troubleshooting (Linux/Windows)
- Wiring (extremely rare, as 70% of the office that is being used right now is wired, and everything is available on Patch Panel)
- Server room maintenance
- General network maintenance
- Troubleshooting basic Microsoft Office Suite problems, Outlook, Evolution, Thunderbird, OpenOffice etc...
- Keeping SAMBA users up to date (Linux based active directory).
- Overall IT environment maintenance
Requirements:
- Professional, Clean, Hygiene and good manners
- Be responsible, and know how to manage your time
- Advanced Hardware Troubleshooting skills ( you will be tested )
- Solid understanding of network+ material
- Experience with Active Directory + SAMBA is a must
- Experience a must!!!
