Position: IT Manager
Technology represents an essential long term growth area of HNW. We are looking for an experienced Windows/Mac IT Manager (MAC EXPERIENCE A MUST!) for a full time position in our NYC office.
We work in a fast-paced environment with a strong reliance on our technology platforms. We need a reliable, organized, level-headed self-starter to manage our IT infrastructure.
Specific responsibilities include:
Network administration (including backup, security management, user account management, e-mail systems including e-mail web server, internet access, office systems and applications support).
Security and Business Continuity Plan Oversight
Asset Management and cataloging
Assist in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting IT infrastructure.
Manage, maintain and upgrade plans to the company's telephone system for multiple offices
Management of mobile device infrastructure
Management of vendor relationships including the purchase and invoice processing for all of hardware and software products.
Management of small to medium sized projects according to agreed upon budgets and schedules.
Oversight of company-wide help desk activities
Hands-on management of mixed WinXP-2k3/Mac OS X user systems
Group Policy/Managed Preference management
Exchange 2007 Server and Active Directory management
DTP and Adobe CS support
Build and deploy both Windows and Macintosh systems
Qualifications:
Experience with Mac OS X in a creative environment A MUST
4+ years of Windows network administration with Active Directory
4 years experience with MS Office applications
Experience in troubleshooting and configuring Windows XP Pro systems in a professional capacity
Ability to negotiate hardware/software service and technical support contracts with vendors.
Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously.
Facilitation and change management skills.
Knowledge of popular design and layout software packages such as Adobe InDesign, Quark Xpress, Photoshop, and Extensis font management.
Knowledge of basic Windows and Macintosh server administration tasks
Knowledge of Active Directory in a Windows 2003 environment
