This is a great long term growth opportunity in a highly technical environment with a growing retail group of stores in search of a candidate to handle their systems & IT support needs.
General responsibilities are:
• Provide assistance with POS system for retail locations.
• Support and provide technical help to 30+ stores with POS system issues.
• Provide telephone/remote technical support to end users.
• set up and configure POS equipment, printers, peripherals and networking equipment
• Provide on-site installation, troubleshooting, training and tech support.
• Manage polling for sales and inventory updates.
• Support corporate office and store level computer users with set up and technical issues.
• Assist management with upgrade/ implement software with new systems.
• Provide help and support with any other management projects.
You must have:
1-Basic understanding of routers, LAN/WAN in a corporate environment.
2-Knowledge of programming languages and ability to advance with company’s programming needs in VB.net, SQL and HTML.
3-Bachelors’ degree in IT or Computer science.
4-The ability to Lift Computer Equipment such as Monitors, Printers, Scanners.
Desired but not required.
•IT support experience of minimum 3 years.
•Prior experience working with IBM mainframes or AS400.
•Some kind of retail industry experience.

Off-hours on-call service in rotation with other technicians is required. (we will provide a laptop)
