We'd like to swap our charming duplex in a small brownstone building for you beach house within 5 hours of New York City this summer. Our ideal is Block Island but we'd be interested in any East Coast seaside area north of the Delaware Memorial Beach.
Our place is just off Bleecker on a quiet village street, the top two floors of our nineteenth-century building. We are a nice family with mama, papa, 3-year old boy and 12-year old dog.
Your place is near a beach, of any size or condition as long as beach is nice and as long as area is quiet (no boardwalk house), and available for swap in July or August. We'd be up for a long weekend for places within 2 hours or 5-7 days for places farther. Your family is nice too, no more than 3-4 people, pets welcome if quiet enough not to bother neighbors below.
