Student Salon Team Leader

We are seeking a Student Salon Team Leader (SSTL) who will provide an exceptional educational environment, which encourages students to meet and exceed educational and professional standards. The SSTL is responsible for maintaining a salon-like atmosphere in the student run salon on campus, ensuring all salon services are executed with a high standard of professionalism, employing Empire customer service standards, and adhering to all State Board Protocols. In addition, the SSTL will assist in the development of student contests or other motivational programs.

Requirements:
• Cosmetology Teachers License
• Minimum of 5 years in a Cosmetology/Proprietary School or Salon Management
• Knowledge of current Cosmetology Industry Standards and Operations
• Proficiency in all aspects of Hair Design, Hair Color, Relaxers, Permanent Waving, Hair Cutting, and Finishing
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Strong Leadership Skills and ability to Lead by Example
