Gawker Media is seeking a QA Analyst to join our Tech team.

Responsibilities
* Act as main point of contact for editors and users on day-to-day site issues
* Monitor site performance and pro-actively communicate and address problems
* Identify, document and track defects
* Manage our bug tracking system, assigning and updating issues and tasks
* Coordinate with product development and technology teams on regular feature rollouts
* Create and execute test cases and plans
* Conduct both manual and automated site testing
* Develop and maintain documentation; recommend processes and best practices
Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in QA, web design and development, and/or online publishing
* Knowledge of software testing methodologies
* Experience testing web applications
* Previous work in creating and executing test cases
* Familiarity with web architecture, different operating systems and browsers
* Working knowledge of browser behaviors, including security settings, cookies, caching, add-ons, etc.
* Programming experience a plus
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to interact with editorial, sales and technology teams
* Customer service focus
* Bachelor's degree
