Our client is looking for a senior java developer with experience working in a customer facing website. Ideal candidate comes from a successful startup. Must be strong with JAVA, Restful API, MYSQL, JSON.

the right candidate will have prior experience in build public facing web products/services and show the ability to be a creative thinker, communicate their ideas well and solve problems. This is a leading edge position and requires the candidate to be technically very strong and up to date with the latest web standards and trends – examples of previous work is required. The ability to communicate well and work under their own supervision is also required, as you will work as part of a motivated and talented team.

Skills Required
This is a predominately a web developer role and the ideal candidate would have multi-platform experience in developing back end web services.

- Java

- Web Architectures and Scaling

- Tomcat

- Struts

- Apache

- XHTML

- RESTful and SOAP APIs.

- Linux

- MVC

- Previous experience is in building larger scale web sites

- Agile Development experience.


Nice to have:

- PHP

- Start up experience / Built public web products from beginning to end.
