FT Senior Swing Core Java Engineer at NY Financial Boutique.
Responsibilities:
• Report directly to CTO in leadership role.
• Upgrade and support current Java based fixed income trading application for both internal company use and external client base.
• Lead manage project to integrate system to connect with external API’s using fixml protocol.
• Work with designers to upgrade Front end GUI and user functionality.
The ideal candidate has:
• Solid 7+ years development (programming & design) experience,
• 3 years experience as a technical lead in financial software (trading systems, auction or marketplace applications).
• Must have experience in Swing, J2EE, EJB, JMS Messaging, JBOSS, JMX, Java beans, RMI/IIOP, XML
• Solid background of trade-related FIX messaging systems, TIBCO RV, MQ, RCP.
• Strong relational database experience a must, SQL Server, My SQL
Qualifications:
Must have a BS or MS in Computer Science or related fields.
5 + years of experience working in large enterprise environment.
Must have Excellent communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with others .
Must have Strong analytical skills and organizational abilities.
