We are a full service IT consulting firm serving clients in the NYC metropolitan area. Our clients span a wide array of industries and are typically small to midsize businesses with networks consisting of 3-50 workstations. We are looking for a full time talented Field Technician with skills that range from desktop support to server configuration and network administration. You must be able to work independently in a professional and punctual manner. You must also be able to accurately track time and professionally describe and document your field work for every assignment.

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of configuration practices of system hardware and operating systems
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Server (all versions)
- Basic knowledge of Exchange Server and user administration
- Knowledge of networking including firewalls, routers, switches and network protocols (i.e. TCP/IP, SMTP, FTP, DHCP).
- Working knowledge of DNS, Internet Infrastructure, and IP informational tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly professional demeanor and extremely detail-oriented
- Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems independently, act with appropriate urgency and to follow through on assignments
- Strong knowledge of mobile devices including windows phones and blackberries
Optional Skills:
- Cisco IOS
- MAC O/S X
- Advanced knowledge of Exchange Server
- Virtualization (VMWare ESX or other)
- Linux / Unix
