This position is responsible for running all aspects of the infrastructure; production operations, desktop support, data center and telecoms for a NYC based media company. You will need to be able to contribute both tactical as well as strategic operational planning and implementation. This position is 100% hands on. You will be the senior IT technologist reporting to the global head of IT. All segments of the company’s IT requirements will fall under your responsibility area. This is a hands on position with a very wide array of technologies employed.
The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
· Managing day to day IT operations support issues
· Managing outsourced IT support vendors
· Managing outsourced phone system
· Managing internal and datacenter storage needs
· Office Connectivity and Security
· Datacenter Operations
· Backups
· Documentation
This position requires a person who is extremely comfortable with all the skills sets mentioned below. Please do not bother applying unless you are at a very high level with each of the listed skills sets.

· Advanced Windows Technologies including Exchange, Sharepoint, Active Directory, DFS, Remote Access, Trusts and managing remote offices.

· Imaging
· Advanced DNS Knowledge
