"I'm upset because of the consequences he has to pay," the girl told The Post.
She told The Post she lied to Freson about her age, telling him that she was 18, but law-enforcement sources said that he would face charges nonetheless.
"I'm upset he's going to jail," she said.
Freson first made contact with the girl, from Trumbull, Conn., in a Yahoo! chat room in April.
But her father said she was swept off her feet by the smooth-talking Freson.
"She thinks he's the most wonderful person. She's angry with me right now because I stopped it," the father said.
Over the weekend, he decided to jet to the Big Apple for a liaison with the pretty, raven-haired teen, police sources said.
The girl said she told her parents that she was going out, but didn't specify where. The pair met up at a Connecticut train station on Saturday morning and he brought her to the Belleclaire Hotel on the Upper West Side, the sources said.
Freson paid for a room and kept the girl overnight, fondling her, sources said.
Meanwhile, the girl's father frantically tried to track her down.
"I was so worried. I couldn't sleep. I couldn't eat. I was calling [her cellphone] every five minutes," said the father, an educator.
The worried dad filed a missing-person report with Connecticut police.
The information was relayed to NYPD cops, who traced her whereabouts through the signals her cellphone was emitting, even though she wasn't answering it.
Cops raced to the hotel on West 77th Street Sunday afternoon, arrested Freson, and allegedly recovered a vibrator and condoms in the room.
He was being held on $2,000 bail following his arraignment in Manhattan criminal court.
Sitting in his living room surrounded by framed photos of his daughter as a toddler, the victim's father was overcome with emotion.
"My daughter is OK. I want him to go to jail," he said. "She's my only child. She did something stupid."

Just wanted to give my opinion on the post below. NOT ALL WOMEN LIKE ANAL. I dont even like men's hands/fingers around my arse as its not designed as an entry FOR WOMEN. WE DO NOT HAVE PROSTATES. For the majority of us its also incredibly painful- doesnt matter WHO is the one doing it (because all men are 'the one's who could show you how good it can feel blah blah blah').
We actually met through Craigslist, not through the personals but by chance. I don't want to make this long to spare you the boredom but I take a few psychiatric meds and we've been through A LOT (a few severe mental breakdowns and hospitalizations, although I'm MUCH better now) because of my mental illness. I'm an above average attractive girl but because of the meds the side effects have started to make me break out a lot and made me gain a little weight (now I'm a size 3, but when he met me I was a size 1). I don't work so I think he resents taking care of me and now I've started to eat in the middle of the night. He's starting to freak out because he thinks I'm starting to make a habit out of it and now he's saying he's going to leave me if I become fat. Keep in mind, I only ate ONE full meal with a couple yogurts yesterday so I was bound to get a little hungry, he was just worried about the time I was eating at because your metabolism is slower at midnight hours.
Who's in the wrong? Since I don't work and have put him through so much mental torment, is the least I can do is look perfectly sexy for him? Or is he asking way too much of me and should love me for who I am, mental illness, fat and all?
How long have you two been together? What makes you believe he loves you? What is it that makes you believe he should be in love with you? Is it because he has stuck around through your numerous breakdowns? You say you don't work. Do you two live together, and he supports you? It’s not uncommon for teenagers to flock to the mall at the end of a school day. But something went awry on Tuesday, when thousands of high school students descended on the Atlantic Center Mall in Brooklyn and a stabbing and shootings followed.
In this case, the police pinned the commotion on — of all things — a 40-cent chicken wing promotion at a restaurant in Fort Greene.
The event, at Buffalo Wild Wings inside the mall at 139 Flatbush Avenue, was promoted to students at high schools throughout Brooklyn.
“Don’t be alarmed if the tightwad of the bunch picks up the tab,” the restaurant said in one advertisement for the special.
Nevertheless, many people were in fact alarmed — by the thousands of teenagers who showed up at the mall on the eve of Veterans Day, a school holiday, and by the violence that followed.
According to the police, gunfire broke out in two locations just after 8 p.m., following altercations that began at the restaurant and spread outside. One shooting occurred on Fulton Street — and left two teenagers wounded — and the other near the intersection of Flatbush and Fulton. A stabbing just outside the mall has also been linked to the chicken wing special. In that case, a teenager was left with injuries that were not life-threatening.
“Although there was a huge police presence at the mall to address the condition and turn the thousands of students away and send them back home, apparently a few rogue groups managed to cause trouble while heading home,” Capt. Anthony Tasso, commanding officer of the 88th Precinct in Brooklyn, said in an e-mail message posted on the Local, a New York Times blog. Hamilton Boardman, a Web producer for The Times, was having dinner nearby when the shooting on Fulton Street occurred. Mr. Boardman said in a posting that he heard two shots around 8:23 p.m., then noticed a large group of teenagers and heard people yelling that someone had been shot. The two victims were sprawled on the ground about 30 feet apart near the corner of Fulton and South Portland Streets. One of them had a gunshot wound in the leg; the second was also injured.
“The shots were in quick succession, separated by no more than a second, and less if my memory serves me right,” Mr. Boardman said. “It’s possible that one of the victims had run a bit before falling to the ground.”
In a statement on Wednesday, Councilwoman Letitia James of Brooklyn criticized the restaurant for its “poor planning” and management of the event.
“Falling on the night prior to the Veterans Day school holiday, the restaurant could not accommodate, nor provide proper security for, the crowd of teens that responded to the promotion — geared to middle and high school students,” she said. “I question the marketing and management of this event, and ask that restaurants and mall management seriously re-evaluate security procedures for highly attended promotions such as the one held yesterday evening.”
A Buffalo Wild Wings employee who identified himself as the manager of the restaurant in Brooklyn on the phone referred questions to the corporate office. A phone call to the company, which is based in Minneapolis and has dozens of locations around the country, was not returned. Nor was a call to the management of the Atlantic Center Mall.
