THE KNICKERBOCKER CHAMBER ORCHESTRA, founded in 2008, is already recognized as Lower Manhattan's premier classical music ensemble. Under the direction of Music Director Gary S. Fagin, the KCO (www.knickerbocker-orchestra.org) has performed in Lower Manhattan's foremost performance venues, such as the World Financial Center Winter Garden, Trinity Church, Pace University Schimmel Center and John Street United Methodist Church, presented innovative soirees in downtown private homes and brought musicians into Lower Manhattan schools as part of its Youth Outreach program.
The KCO needs an intern to develop and run its internet presence via Facebook and Twitter and to instruct us on how best to use these formats. The position is unpaid, but offers the opportunity to be part of the burgeoning downtown music scene and to work with established professionals in a new and prestigious downtown Manhattan arts organization.
