We are a junior denim manufacturer based in NYC. We are looking for a freelance denim designer/merchandiser with JUNIOR experience. The position really involved surfing the net for updated looks, shopping a little, remerchandising what we have by changing back pocket treatments. For example, a customer of mine is looking for 20 new pocket treatments so that is a project in itself. I think being on top of the junior market is key, understanding different denim construction and washes, etc is very important. The job is on a project to project basis but could turn into a full time position.
