Interactive / Print Designer
New York Start-up Agency specializing in Visual Marketing for fashion, luxury, consumer, retail, real estate, and entertainment industries seek an exceptionally-talented Integrated Web/Print Designer for a great DESIGN position. The designer will work on-site or off-site with an Award-Winning Creative Director / Professional Mentor to successfully design and produce collateral, print advertising, online and email marketing campaigns, video shorts, presentations, and multimedia applications. The desired candidate is very talented, a quick study, self-motivated, highly productive, detail oriented, and can turn clear direction into beautiful and effective marketing communications across all media.
You should be able to take a project from kick-off to completion, as well as with collaborate with a team. You need to demonstrate a strong sense of typography and a PROBLEM-SOLVING ATTITUDE. You love perfecting type across an 8-page brochure, and welcome new creative and conceptual challenges.
Candidates must live in proximity to New York City. This is an amazing opportunity for aspiring design entrepreneurs. Looking for a flexible, intellectually-curious type with good mix of book design and street smart design, designers with a purpose, who can handle a hip, cool, fair but demanding work environment. Don't need to know all the answers but willing to be coached, understand and learn. I promise you at the end of this internship, you will have the necessary real world tools to succeed in a lifelong career as a designer that you can't get from school. Agency experience / corporate design is nice to have
Must be willing to learn new ideas, enjoy challanges and have sense of humor.
