The Venture
Wanderfly is a new startup that is reinventing online travel. You will be working in a “whatever it takes” rapid application development environment and joining an exceptional team that includes top-notch, experienced people in web technology, design and marketing. Wanderfly is privately funded, and we are seeking brilliant entrepreneurial, passionate interns who love travel and mesh with our startup mentality.
The Gig
This position is multi-faceted and requires a talented generalist who can help us with everything from market research to data collection to basic visual & interaction design to business development strategy. You will be working closely with our Director of Marketing, Director of Business Development and Creative Director to bring the product (and company) to life.
If you are right for this position, you just got excited upon reading the prior sentence. You’ve demonstrated first-rate experience in school, know the digital and travel spaces inside and out, want to get your hands dirty with a startup and are looking to join a group of people who will add as much value to your craft as you will to theirs.
The Standards
• 0-2 years experience in digital media/marketing and/or travel industry
• Extremely digitally/technology savvy with a working knowledge of web technologies
• Comfortable with Powerpoint, Photoshop and Internet research
• Proven ability to collaborate in a team environment to rapidly bring ideas to life online
• Passion for brilliant design and user experience is a must
