Clear Channel Radio Digital, a division of Clear Channel Radio is looking for motivated college students to intern in our Digital Marketing department. This internship opportunity is for the Spring 2010 semester. It's a part-time, unpaid position.

The main function of the digital marketing department is to introduce people to our site and its offerings by using social network platforms and by connecting with fans on sites they visit daily. If you have a knack for online promotion we want to hear from you!
Our department also coordinates the NEW! Discover & Uncover program, an online and on-air platform that exposes unsigned and developing artists’ music on 350+ radio station websites across the country. If listening to new music before the masses is interesting to you…send us your resume!
Interns will be responsible for taking part in a large volume of viral marketing initiatives, building up our social net presence, researching artists and competitor sites, writing descriptive teaser texts for artists, listening to and organizing a large volume of artist song submissions and more! Additionally, interns will be working with iheartradio.com - our music mobile application and entertainment portal which houses tens of thousands of songs, music videos, gossip, news and exclusive live performances.
Highlights: Watch up and coming artists perform live in the office! Recent performances include Love and Theft and One EskimO.

Requirements:
You must be able to receive college credit. Minimum of 15 hours/week. Knowledge of Microsoft Word + Excel. Experience with and knowledge of social networking sites (MySpace, Facebook, Twitter) and an interest in new/digital media, marketing/promotions, writing + all genres of music is preferred!
