Position Summary:
Contract spot
Provides day-to-day operational support to Health & Welfare Benefits team
Duties and Accountabilities:
Provide strong technical support to time sensitive:
* RFPs (Request for Proposal) and Benefit implementations;
* Vendor contract coordination and management (service agreements,
BAAs, performance guarantees);
* Annual Open enrollment;
* Assist in the creation, development and modification of all benefit
related communications including but not limited to SPDs, SARs, SMMs
* Other special projects as needed
Additional Responsibilities:
Ad-hoc backup support to Health & Welfare Benefits team
Qualifications:
Skill sets:
* Excellent critical thinking skills with ability to apply strong
analytical skills;
* Tech savvy with good understanding of Benefits and HR systems and
their interrelation to other systems such as Payroll and TPAs;
* Excellent oral and written communication skills;
* Strong benefits knowledge base with ability to apply to
comprehensively all aspects of health and welfare plan administration;
* Highly collaborative with ability to work independently or in a team
based environment;
* Flexible with ability to work well in a fast-paced, rewarding
environment
Education and experience:
* 5 -7 relevant work experience in professional services environment,
law firm is preferred but not necessary
* BA or BS degree required, CEBS or GBA a plus
* Strong in Microsoft Office software with particular emphasis on
Excel (V-lookup, pivot tables), Access, Discover and running reports; data
analyst experience a plus
