PEFIN's lecturing staff (training instructors and teaching assistants) is composed of a small team of seasoned professionals with a combined experience of nearly 100 years in the banking and finance industry. Our training instructors have credentials from the leading investment and financial firms on Wall Street, as well as from the top business schools around the country. In addition, and as part of our corporate policy, we require all of our training instructors to have a minimum of 10 years of teaching experience; in addition to a considerable amount of buy-side and sell-side transactional work and leadership record, acting as principals and/or agents. PEFIN also maintains a high-degree of quality control in its classrooms, by monitoring our teaching staff in order to ensure the highest level of education, training, and transfer of knowledge. The Private Equity Finance Institute (PEFIN) was formed by two highly regarded investment professionals, who first pioneered the principal investing training industry in the year 2000. COURSE REQUIREMENTS [TRAINING PROGRAM]
There are no pre-requisites for the course, other than a business degree and/or industry experience. Students must possess a working knowledge of MS Excel, and preferably experience in the finance and/or accounting industry. Most of our students are working professionals, although a small number of trainees are students completing their graduate or undergraduate degree. We strongly encourage all of our clients, to register as early as possible for the course, in order to obtain the required reading materials, training manuals, and case-study guides, prior to the first day of class. This way, students will have ample time cover the information; and the accounting, financial, legal and tax concepts covered in class. Registered students starting the training program are required to bring a laptop computer, financial calculator, as well as a portable drive; in addition to a notebook, pen, pencil and highlighter throughout the length of the course. Students are also encouraged to bring a power cord, or alternatively, an additional battery pack, for extended battery life. For compatibility reasons, students are required to be running on Windows XP or Windows Vista on an IBM or IBM compatible computer (Mac's are not acceptable for the course, due to considerable limitations in the use of spreadsheet and software applications and shortcuts). If the student does not own a laptop computer, he or she will be provided with one for use at our training facility location. We also recommend purchasing a calculator pad and external mouse prior to starting the course, although it is not a requirement. In addition, there is a parking lot that can be used after 7 pm (or 6 pm on Sunday) or on events on Saturday night.

The space is Sunday-Thursday, Friday till sunset and Saturday night.
