Beyond our New York release, we are premiering in Portland and Austin this weekend. We are planning a 50 college tour, and we are very optimistic about our DVD release. By coming in and working with us, you will learn how to make all of these things happen. You can also build your resume and it really helps when future employers see that you contributed to a successful film compared to one that simply floundered in the ether.

Starting immediately through November 19th, we need people to help us with administrative stuff in our office and to promote SPLINTERHEADS on the ground. Helping with promotions now will lead to production jobs in the future. Everybody that works with us makes films on their own time and you will meet very talented people to collaborate with. Responsibilities of the job include: event planning, email marketing, promoter scouting, updating contacts, compilation of guest lists, database and web upkeep, general office tasks, doorperson work, and event management. In attendance at our weekly events, you will serve as a coordinator between management and promotional staff and, as a host, you will maintain overall positive atmosphere and smoothness of the night. You may also assist our guests with drinks and, of course, have a good time.

The position will pay a weekly salary plus commissions. Around $400-$500/week should be expected.

Those who apply must be serious about being a part of the nightlife scene in Manhattan. Additionally, ideal applicants will be outgoing, able to accommodate many people and tasks at once, easygoing with superb communication skills, and capable of remaining professional and focused in a party environment under pressure.
