The company specializes in nightlife marketing, promotions, and consulting. The parties and events cater to the art, music, fashion, and hospitality industries and are held at high-end Manhattan venues. The basics of the job entail increasing the weekly turnout for events and shadowing nightlife executives during their daily routines as well as at the club events. You will use all of your campus resources in order to build a team at your school with the main focus of pushing our nightlife events. This position is a fantastic way to build your contact base, network with other young and ambitious New Yorkers in a relaxed environment, and put yourself in position to have a long and illustrious career in nightlife.
Responsibilities of the job include: event planning, email marketing, promoter scouting, updating contacts, compilation of guest lists, database and web upkeep, general office tasks, doorperson work, and event management. In attendance at our weekly events, you will serve as a coordinator between management and promotional staff and, as a host, you will maintain overall positive atmosphere and smoothness of the night. You may also assist our guests with drinks and, of course, have a good time.
The position will pay a weekly salary plus commissions. Around $400-$500/week should be expected.
