Economic Education for Everyone!
Over two billion people in our world today live on less than two dollars a day. Economic experts agree that we can produce plenty for all, we just don’t share it fairly! Technology can provide for every single person in the world and many more. Injustice and poverty are scandals that concern us all.
The Henry George School is committed to creating prosperity for all. Our core curriculum is based on the writings of the American economist HENRY GEORGE, author of Progress and Poverty, the world’s all time best-selling book on economics. As a citizen, you need to understand how wealth is created and distributed in society – and the Henry George School of Social Science will provide you with the conceptual tools to do it.
The Henry George Research Library is available, by appointment, for the study of a wide range of social issues.
Henry George was a prominent early 19th century American political economist, social reformer, and social scientist who advocated environmentalism, free trade, new capitalism, land value taxation policy, social & economic justice and equality; he was considered a Neo-Ricardian classical political economist who studied and followed the works and teachings of many prominent English & British classical economists - Adam Smith, David Ricardo, John Stuart Mill, Robert Thomas Malthus, and David Hume as well as the French Physiocrats.
