Small to Mid Sized Manhattan based General Contractor seeks a CHIEF ESTIMATOR
Requirements:
- 10-15 years experience in private sector construction estimating.
- Timberline Software Experience and Training
- Management experience over at least 2-3 junior estimators
- Conceptual Estimating Experience / Negotiated Work
- Exposure to all phases of construction including interior fit outs, renovation, ground up, structural, etc..
- Strong work ethic / ability to lead by example - i.e. staying late when need be, working until 6:30 pm on average, etc...
- Multitasking - experience estimating minor and major projects while also delegating, overseeing and double checking work by other staff members.
- Integrity and Honesty - a personality and work ethic that gains the respect of those working with you and for you. An ability to manage in a balanced way - i.e. supportive and directive.
