The Ripple Project (www.therippleproject.com) is a small production company based out of New York City and we are currently working on our newest documentary film, Brundibar: Beyond Imagination. We are currently seeking a production intern that will join our creative team of producers, directors and designers.

This project seeks to break beyond the traditional boundaries of documentaries. The Ripple Project is unique in that we will actually be creating the subject matter which we will then document. We are currently working on bringing together children from all over the world who have experienced genocide and various conflicts and bring them together to learn and perform the children's opera, Brundibar (first performed in the Holocaust ghetto, Theresienstadt) in the Czech Republic.

You will be working with established and award-winning filmmakers on an entirely unique and different project. You will learn by doing and get to work hands-on producing this film. Your work will be essential and you will be a necessary part of the team. This is no coffee-fetching job. You will be scheduling, writing, emailing contacts and working on other basic needs of this project in the pre-production and production phases.

While we cannot offer monetized pay at this time, we can offer full academic credit for your college or university. This internship may lead to a paid position in the future.

Applicants must be goal oreinted, organized, efficient and hard workers. All the details regarding the position you can learn on the job. While experience in film or television production is hugely beneficial, please still feel free to apply even if you do not have these work experiences.
